Couldn't get into it

I did not enjoy this as much as the previous book. Man, I don't know. The tension of The Program coming for them was interesting, but I hated the romance and it's just such a large part of the plot and what's happening on the page that I just didn't enjoy this one like I'd hoped. Usually I am lukewarm on first books in a series and then like it more and more as I am familiar with the characters and the world, but that didn't...
