This book will leave you crying and asking why. All Kalil wants to do is provide for his daughter and baby's mother. But after he came home from doing four years in jail, he finds his baby's mother cheating on him with his rival. After that he tries to get back on his feet. He doesnt want to get back in the drug game, but working a 9 to 5 isnt his thing. When he finds out that his rival has been touching his eight year old daughter, the old him comes back. Then when he took his child away from her mom he has to start taking care of her. While he is doing that he meets London, his daughter's dance teacher. She was being abused at home, and when he tries to take her away from that he finds out that the person who is abusing her is the same person that helped him get to the top. Then when the guy finds out what is going on, all hell breaks lose.

I LOVE ASHLEY & JAQUAVIS books!! i've read every book!this one was one of my favorites, but you all definantely need to read DIRTY MONEY and the sequel SUPREME CLIENTELE! those 2 are AMAZING....i promise u!

I am so crazy! I READ this book back in January but when I saw it with a new cover I purchased it again,thinking that it was a sequel. I must say that I was not upset or disappointed in anyway. No one and I mean NO ONE can spin a tale like Ashley & JaQuavis. Their books are always fire. Khalil and London's story tore my heart out and I found myself dropping tears as I turned the pages towards the end. I have been a die hard fan of theirs since Dirty Money and I love that becuz for me every book gets better and better. I would recommend this book to any and everyone. As a matter of fact if you ain't read it yet then you are str8 slipping. BUY THIS BOOK TWICE, lol. It's worth it. It is one of the best of 2008

I dove into this book and was on a entaining ride. Kalil is street hustler who is trying to get on the right side of the law, but when his old connect gives him an offer he cant refuse thats when the drama pops off. London a immigrant beauty who falls for Kalil makes the stopry come together. this IS ONE GREAT STREET LOVE STORY and I am looking for the next Ashley and JaQuavis novel, THE CARTEL!!! This book is a must read. 5 stars!!!!!
