As others have mentioned, there are definitely great illustrations in here that make it easy to slip into Wesley's imagination with him. Its a great story about a trucker with good clean messages like helping others who may help you someday. I highly recommend it to boys and girls age 3-6
The Trucker

I take care of a 3-year-old boy, who is just crazy about this book. We kept it out of the library for 6 weeks and read it at least once a day. It's great for little ones imagination. They can easily put themselves in the little boys shoes and be driving a big rig. I've been reading this book for years and highly recommend it. Now when he gets potty trained he will have his own.
Time for Truckin'

Wonderful illustration hands down. The story packs all things that a boy could want to see happen: flat tires, rain storms, and a little boy who drives a big rig (even if only in his dreams). My son loves this book and asks me to read it quite often.

I teach two classes of 3/4 year olds and 4/5 year olds. Both groups liked this book and listened intently. It's great to have a book about trucks for a change of pace too. The illustrations are beautiful. A five and a half year old girl wondered aloud how a boy could drive a truck.
