Creepy. Intense. May be too Scary for younger readers, but oh, so fun!

This is a high interest book for middle readers. A Ghost/Mystery story. Students will want to read on their own or listen to a read aloud in class. *SPOILERS* New kid Robbie moves to the city of Twilight and quickly finds out the Old Orphanage down the road is haunted by a young girl in a white dress. Rumor has it that if you happen to see the girl in the white dress, you will die the next day... That aspect of the story is a little rough for younger readers but ***MORE SPOILERS ON THE GHOST*** It turns out to be more of a mystery than a ghost murder story. There aren't any murders in the story because the ghost turns out to be a hoax to cover up an underground drug business. **END OF SPOLIERS*** The students seemed to like the mystery aspect of the book, and loved to be spooked over the ghost. A great way to get students interested in reading.
