"This business about graceful exit just simply has no realism to it at all." As the end of the Bush era approaches, the legacy is clear: George W. Bush is a wartime president. His enemy, battered but not defeated after repeated surges: the English language. The ultimate edition of George W. Bushisms captures this legacy -- from the Gulf Coast to Iraq and back -- with all-new pearls of wisdom and the twenty-five greatest hits of the entire presidency. "You know, when I campaigned here in 2000, I said, I want to be a war president. No president wants to be a war president, but I am one.""I think -- tide turning -- see, as I remember -- I was raised in the desert, but tides kind of -- it's easy to see a tide turn -- did I say those words?"
The book was cool although i did expect a little bit bigger book. but its ok. its amazing that an idiot like bush(lower case is intentional) can make president yet they make it so hard for the average joe to do so. anyone of us could have done a hell of a lot better than that idiot.
Great gift idea

I bought this for my mom (over 70 years old) since she always gets a kick out of Bush's mishaps. I did not get to see the book itself, however, after she unwrapped the gift on the phone, she cackled for several minutes as she was reading funny clips from the book. I felt like I got my money's worth from this gift. I give this 5 stars for my mom (since she doesn't have a computer)...because its obvious she enjoys the book.
The Mis-Communicator in Chief Speaks to Us

This is yet another volume of quotes from the Bush lexicon. It contains numerous new quotes, uttered since the last edition, as well as the top 25 greatest "Bushisms" of all time. Some are simply humorous, while some are laugh out loud funny and the collection will keep you entertained for quite a while. I personally keep mine handy and read the sayings again and again to remind myself why I volunteer at a high school. Buy it, read and enjoy it....it may be the last book of quotes we ever get from this great mis-communicator.
