This book is pretty good because it's an interesting read with passages, and about 6 nostalgic photos, interspersed throughout the book. There are 5 sections including an index. Rise & Shine, Munchies & Lite Bites, Diner Delights, Simple Sides and Soda Fountain Fun. The recipes in the book come from a variety of different sources, private chefs/cooks, cafe's and restaurants. The Diner Delights and Soda Fountain Fun sections contain the most familiar recipes that I think you'll see on diner menus across America. Some of the recipes like "Henry's Hotter Than Hell Chilli" come from a motel and cafe located on the old Route 66, so I know the recipe's are authentic. The book isn't thick by any measure, it has approximately 105 pages of recipes, including the index it's 108 pages long. The quality of the recipes are really good, each section contains recipes that I can imagine myself making at home.
