This book reeled me in and I was hooked. I fell in love with the story and the characters realky fast. Honestly my favorite trilogy so far

This book deserves a review. It was phenomenal. The main character, Mara, undergoes ridiculous amounts of emotional stress after the collapse of an old building in which her two best friends and boyfriend are killed, leaving her as the lone survivor, though she remembers nothing at all. She begins hallucinating visions from the night of the tragedy and finds that she can kill simply by thinking it. And you can never get enough of the love interest. The perfect amount of dark humor, mystery and, my favorite, romance. I would compare the interest to that of Looking For Alaska by John Green and Unlovely by Celeste Conway. A truly incredible read that I 100% recommend. Although, make sure you've found the second book, The Evolution of Mara Dyer, somewhere before you complete this. There is a HUGE cliff-hanger.
