An easy read on a complicated subject

As a sports participant since I was a kid, I have recently found out, through MRI's, that I have arthritis in both of my knees. Since I have also had knee surgery, I wanted to learn how I could still participate in sports without adding to the pain caused by this arthritis. As a 40 year old, I feel I'm way too young to be held back by arthritis. This book provided an easy read on a complicated subject. I was able to read how I could improve my way of life without giving up sports. In addition, the book gave me some ideas on preventive care and how changing my diet could help. Ms. Iannucci presented Dr. Horowitz's medical lingo in a down to earth fashion that will make you return to the book for reference again and again, even after you have initially read it. I recommend the book and have given it a deserved five star rating. Cudos on a job well done !

I have read numerous articles from this writer and found her to be very down to earth in a writing style that is easy to understand. She covers this subject in a lay person terminology so that the reader can appreciate the subject while learning.
