The gift of sight comes at a dangerous price When Deep Down Salvage begins the hunt for the Josephine Marie, it seems like any other dive...until Genevieve Wallace sees the vision of a dead woman in the water, her vacant eyes boring into Genevieve's very soul. Terrified and confused by what she saw, Genevieve is haunted by the memory, but no one -- including her diving partner Thor Thompson -- believes her. When a dead woman washes up on shore, everyone assumes this is Genevieve's "vision," but Genevieve knows the truth: the dead woman is not the ghost she saw but another victim of the same brutal killer. Sensing that the threat of death is coming closer, she and Thor are forced to acknowledge that some things can't be explained, but simply are. Somehow they have to link a violent past with a present-day mystery or risk losing themselves in an abyss of terror.
If you really like paranormal stories which bristles your nape hairs you can read this one. The story is fast paced, spooky and eerie and at the same time a very good thriller.
Ghosts, Treasure, Hero's Oh My!!!

When diving for treasure literally, Genevieve Wallace comes face to face with a dead woman. When this dead woman tries to speak to her she is frightened and races for the surface. She reports what she saw but fellow divers find nothing. This terrifies Genevieve but she takes the teasing of her friends with good cheer. What she doesn't take with good cheer is the condescending attitude of Thor Thompson. He is working the dive site along with her team. He thinks she is crazy and a possible danger to work with. She sees things and her dead lady keeps popping up and no one sees her. But when a dead body washes up on shore...the mystery of what or rather who Gen saw underwater should have been solved. But it hasn't. The dead lady is not the same one Gen has seen and Thor finds himself spending more and more time with her and thinks there just might be something to the "ghost" that haunts her. Their close working relationship as dive buddies is forcing them to rely on the other and it's not long before passion begins to burn between them. Can they stay one step ahead of what is going on with their hearts in tack? This was a great read. A skillfully woven tale that includes, ghost, suspense, and of course romance as only Ms. Graham can create! Think romance meets Pirates of the Caribbean and you can imagine how entertained you will be. Thor and Gen are great characters and you will be kept guess as to who the baddie is up until the very end. Ms. Graham has vividly brought to life the Key's and if you are looking for a way to escape for just a little bit...this is the ticket!

This was one of Heather's best books yet. I love the way she brings in characters from her other books. Ms. Graham has a way of making her characters come to life. In each and every book, no matter where the setting is placed, I would love to visit. I love to read for entertainment. A Heather Graham book never fails to give me that pleasure.
A really great book!

I just finished reading this book and it was very good throughout the entire book. There were times that I couldn't put it down. The times when I could were when I was going to bed or going to work. I have enjoyed several of Heather Graham's books with no disappointments.
excellent paranormal romantic suspense thriller

Off the Florida Keys, a professional deep sea diving team seeks to locate the Marie Josephine, a nineteenth century vessel that sunk nearby allegedly with a fortune in pirate booty. One of the team members experienced diver Genevieve Wallace notices what appears to be a dead woman floating at about fifty feet below the surface. However, no one else see the corpse and other dives in the vicinity prove fruitless. Fellow diver Thor Thompson not only scoffs at her claim, he does not trust her as he believes she is a phony glory hound. However, he admits he also is attracted to her while Josephine feels the same way much to her chagrin as he has been nasty. However, he changes his mind when he finds Gen soaked with seawater that should not be on her let alone near her or inside her room. When another woman is found dead, Thor knows Gen was telling the truth that she saw a corpse, but now fears a killer is murdering females even as his beloved is beginning to "see" clearly what no one else can see. Heather Graham is at her best with this excellent paranormal romantic suspense thriller that grips readers from the moment of the first sighting and never slows down until the final confrontation. The action-packed story line is enhanced by the wonderfully interwoven description of the area and a strong support cast including those seemingly from beyond. The lead couple is an excellent pairing as their relationship metamorphoses once Thor begins to give into his desire and totally alters as he believes Gen. This is quite a pleasurable treat for sub-genre readers. Harriet Klausner
