I think Shane's thrillers are as good as any page-turning stuff I read nowadays. They grip you from the first page. 'The Webber Agenda' centres around two worldwide conspiracy theories. Firstly, what happened to the funding money available to the East german secret police when the Berlin Wall came down? Several billions of dollars simply disappeared. Briant puts a good case scenario. The second question is what would have been the outcome of the first us/Iraq war had the Iraquis had a targetting system for their scud missiles,It's great reading as are his other book, 'The Chasen Catalyst', 'Hitkids' and 'Bite of the Lotus'.
