Couldn't Put it Down!

I was NOT at all sure what to expect from this book, and definitely didn't expect to love it. I struggled a little bit in the beginning with it switching to past-present and keeping the characters straight but after a few chapters, I was HOOKED. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't wait to get home from work just so I could read it. After I finished it, I immediately went and added several more books from this author to my Wish...

perfect winter book to curl up to during a winter storm.A perfect blend of suspense, folklore, classic ghost story, and mystery. I got the same satisfied feeling after completing this as I used to when reading r.l. Stine's "Fear Street Saga" books! Not an overload of romance or squishy feelings to bog down solid story-telling while creating an entire atmosphere of supernatural and human intrigue.
