Surreal, sexy, feminist stories.

Shape shifting, pet protagonists in sexual situations with humans, time and gender travel all make this an enthralling collection. It may genuinely frighten, but never fails to stimulate the imagination. Though the Japanese orientation is always explicit, including references to well-known Noh figures and plays, the universality of the author's observations is unfailing. Worth a read by writers and dreamers, of any sex.
