Written for every sports fan who follows the Georgia Bulldogs, this account goes behind the scenes to peek into the private world of the players, coaches, and decision makers--all while eavesdropping on their personal conversations. From the locker room to the sidelines and inside the huddle, the book includes stories about Alonzo Awtrey and others, allowing readers to relive the highlights and the celebrations.
I just got this book for Christmas, have read it twice in six days, and am thoroughly pleased. If you're looking for a book that gives a complete history of UGA football, this is for you. I have been following the Bulldogs since the 1950s and have at least two dozen books on Georgia football. This is one of the best I've read. I respectfully disagree with the review by "Bob C." Although a portion of the book is more like great moments or games in Georgia Bulldogs history than stories, there are quite a few personal "stories" included. I have been a huge UGA football fan and follower for over 50 years and many of the stories in the book I had never heard or read. There are a few writing or editing errors but they are certainly not "all through the book." I recommend this book to any SEC football fan. It is one of the best researched on Georgia football that I have read.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Only problem is I am a Bulldog fan through and through. Anything with Herschel Walker is a must for me. So my review is bias but I enjoyed this very much.
