A Bit Hit or Miss

Some of the essays in this short volume are laugh-out-loud funny, much like Mr. Hall himself. However, there were a few that were quite dull, and a couple that were in poor taste indeed. This is the beauty of a book of essays, though. If you're in the middle of one that isn't stellar, you know that in a few pages you'll get to try a new one. Sort of like chocolates in a sampler box, and that's not a bad thing.
