A lot of variety, a lot of funny

Each chapter is different. Some are collections of themed one-liners (Statistics: "The average person will eat more than 25 pounds of meat if offered enough money to do it," "If you stretched the average person's intestines out from end to end, it would make him scream a lot"). Some are dialogues. Some are series of diary entries. Some are stories built around a phrase ("I was green with envy ... She was hazel with eyes and pink with lipstick. And she had nice skin, which was tan with tan") or tell the same story from different perspectives (a woman who was stung by a bee, the bee, a squirrel who saw it happen). There are about 45 drawings grouped into sections of ~15 each. Because of the variety of forms, it feels quite different from Martin's standup or TV show, but it all has his sense of humor.
