As Rowley regains consciousness, he's haunted by the last thing he saw: passengers, including his wife, vanishing through a gaping hole in the Boeing 787's fuselage. He finds himself stranded on an unfamiliar island-surely, it can't be far from land. But what if it is? He quickly realizes he's not alone.
