I listened to this one on CD and I just loved it, spent a lot of time carrying my CD player around just so I could keep going with the story. Hannah Firth and Nathaniel King are wonderful characters and following their lives will keep you reading (or listening), they are well supported by many other great characters. I also found the book gave a good view of life in rural England in the 1860's. Threepenny Dreams is linked to `A Pennyworth of Sunshine' and `Twopenny Rainbows' but is not a sequel. I would definitely recommend this book to read (or listen to) and I will be reading more from Anna Jacobs.
