A brilliant book for kids who want a little more.

This collection of short stories (and one novella) is a wonderful bridge from children's books to adult fiction. I try to read any book that my son plans to read and it is often a chore. This time it was a delight! While calling the stories "science fiction" may be accurate, it is certainly incomplete. The magical elements are wrapped around the importance of the choices you make. Moral without being preachy, this book is one that I'm sure your children (and yourself) will cherish.
