I like this book because it has such variety and includes complete directions. My students love it and look through it to get ideas they can take to their work.

I purchase tons of books because I get interested in something and have to know everything about it. Having said that, I picked up this little cutie and it turned out to be so useful for a beginning tile artist. The ring-binding is awesome because you can lay the book flat to reference it while you work. My hubby wanted to try and make a few tiles with me, and he's never touched clay before, but he did a great job following the designs in the book. There are lots of different styles and techniques covered in here as well; all really useful for the BEGINNER tile artist. If you were a pro, I'm not sure there would be anything in here to pique your interest really, but I loved it. Loads of great photos and easy to follow instructions. An A+!
