A collection of Fast’s best short fiction, from science fiction and fantasy to philosophy and suspenseThis collection of short stories encompasses twenty years of work by Howard Fast, including some... This description may be from another edition of this product.
These are stories that provokes you, angers you, makes you want to know the answer to all the questions hidden under every sentence you read. More than everything they catch you with their twistedness, their humor and their frankness. It's an easy read, also very very funny, and Howard Fast has asked all the questions that makes us humans, but has been honest enough not to answer any of them. Maybe because its our curiousity towards them that makes life worth living. And maybe because some of them shall not be answered for a long long time ahead. It brings you back to your childhood, when it was a lot easier to wonder whether angels really existed, or insects could think or from where you came from. Personally, I think this is his best work. Personally I think that these are the best stories I've read in my life.

This book contains some of the finest short stories I have ever read. Running the gambit from time travel to overpopulation to pollution, these timeless lessons come at you in a way you'll never forget. Howard Fast appeals to a whole new audience with this work. This title is difficult to find, and if you do find it, keep both hands on it, because you'll want to share it, and they'll want to keep it!
A fascinating view of the world through Howard Fast's words.
