Part diary, part confessional, T.M. Shine's hilariously droll Timeline does for America what Bridget Jones did for England: showcase the daily dramas and drudgeries in the life of one very funny... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Sorry, it's late, I'm tired and I'm not verbose anyway. I'm a huge fan of funny books and this made me laugh more often and harder than anything, ANYTHING, I've ever read. I only wish I could get my paws on a collection of his articles. My new favorite humorist hands down. Buy This Book!!!
Larry David Kind of Humor

I just hate to have Shine drop off the radar of contemporary humor. The humor in this book, the humor of Shine himself reminds me of Larry David - a dry, delicious and surgically precise exposure of contemporary idiocies. Never does he bludgeon - the finesse is what makes Shine Shine. The best of what Shine does could be the 'makings' of a New Yorker humorist on par with the classic work of Robert Benchley. I believe he is lost to us though - from what I can ascertain he writes less than mediocre columns for a Florida paper and probably doesn't know how good he is.
