If Nene and Kou want to return to their own world, they have to kill "Amane Yugi" and "Sousuke Mitsuba"- or rather, the versions of them living within the canvas of No. 4's boundary. Faced with that cruel choice, Nene instead proposes a way to escape from this fake world to the boy she can't help but call "Hanako-kun." At the same time, Kou tries to win over Mitsuba...but just who exactly is this "Mitsuba"?
With Nene and Kou trapped in number 4's boundary, a living canvas, she told them their only hope to escape was to kill "Aname" and "Mitsuba." While the inhabitants of this boundary are all fake, creations of number 4, the duo still can't kill the lookalikes of their friends. With Hanako and any other supernatural MIA, can Kou and Nene find a way out of this artistically mad world without turning into murderers?
Wow! I don't even know where to begin with this. I'm afraid if I gush too much this review will turn into spoilers, so let me just say, there are so many more mysteries than The 7 School Mysteries going on here, and I am all for it! The series is an absolute wild ride. There are so many bits of humor and beautiful heart, along with fun action and a touch of soft romance, that something in here could appeal to absolutely anyone.
Not to mention the intrigue of Nene's fate, and Kou's brother is up to something more than just being student council president and friendly neighborhood exorcist, there's something a bit darker and more mysterious than just his rugged good looks and charm. (Description sponsored by Nene Yashiro.)
If you're reading this review but haven't checked out Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, Vol. 1 yet, please do so! You will not regret it. This series also comes in two really cool box sets, of which I have both, (volumes 1-10, and 11-20)!

Okay, I can't stand how beautiful the illustrations are. Then, the story. Oh. My. Word. For Hanako fans, you'll be reading why you're getting the feels from a certain main character of the manga (and the previous parts from volume six).
