Kou has seemed depressed ever since he, Nene, and Hanako-kun returned from the Hell of Mirrors three days prior. To cheer him up, the three friends decide to go to a Tanabata festival held within one of the school's Boundaries. But instead of getting to enjoy the festival with Kou and Hanako-kun, Nene is suddenly whisked off to fifty years in the past-where she finds herself face-to-face with a living Hanako-kun?
This Hanako manga volume is my favorite. Because it's the two-part story about the festival taken place in Kamome High School. I have favorite characters thru-out the manga volumes. Hanako himself for being a funny school mystery ghost. Yashiro (Nene) for the cutest character traits of her. The whole cover clearly tells about trying to get enough slips for the wishing tree (can't say how many and colors). And you'll probably gonna read the cow part for some reason. It gets better. I thought it was a good volume. Except the last two parts of the volume. The festival two-part story is actually my favorite to me.
