The Sick Days

I'm sure we all remember those bad days where even a slight cold made us feel like we couldn't even get out of bed. I know I have been there and it is not the best feeling in the world. In this book, when Tommy hears his grandpa say he has a bug, he sets out on a search to find it. When his friends come over, they help him look for this bug that is making Tommy feel so bad. His parents try to do all they can to help him get better as soon as possible, just as my parents did for me whenever I was sick. They gave him medicine and let him rest so he would get better, and just after a couple of days, he was better. But I would say that this is a really good children's book because even little kids have been sick and they know how it is to feel like that. Not only that, but it shows how far children's imaginations go when they hear things.
