No matter what age, DK (Dorling Kindersley) Publishing books are the best books! This board book is just perfect for little ones hands, there is lots of different textures to feel and is perfect for anyone who one interested in ponies! We own several of the touch & feel books and my daughter loves hearing them over and over as well as touching each page! We even have some of the Scratch & Sniff books and they rock too! DK publushers make each "smell area" about the size of a Post-It Note, which is perfect for toddlers who will love to smell each page over and over! You just can not go wrong purchasing any book from DK publishers!
A great book to share with your baby

This series of board books are fantastic.I started collecting these for my daughter after she was given one at 6 months as she loved them so much. The book is simple and easy to read with wonderful real photography (not illustrations)and textures on each page that relate to the text on the page. It's a great book to get your baby involved in the reading process, to learn what you are saying also means a texture they can actually touch. It's also a book that baby can read alone with easy to turn pages and endless fascination with the different textures.A wonderful book to get your children learning, thinking and enjoying books. You can never have too many books to read with your children.

We have several of the books in this series and I am buying yet another set for a baby shower. From my 16 month old daughter to my 9 year old son, this book has captured their imagination. Ponies of all ages and colors fill the pages with plenty of tactile stimulation for the youngest and the opportunity for the oldest to make up stories as he goes along with each re-reading of the book. Plus it was great before we went on a pony ride as the kids knew what to expect the ponies to feel like.
