This book offers an excellent balance of travel details, with specific recommendations for food, restaurants and hotels, how to get there, etc., incorporated in the text instead of under headings. Includes photographs that give a real sense of what the location looks and feels like. The balance of all the details supports and inspires decision-making for trip planning. Be aware though that the cost of hotels listed, along with maps, restaurants and other references listed at the back of the book has a high threshold. The lowest range for hotel rates (i.e., marked with 1$) is for hotels that charge less than $250. This is not geared to the budget traveler!
