Treachery: Cocaine Trafficking, Murder, and Aircraft Sabotage

Those that were involved in cocaine trafficking into Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, California, wanted Marine Colonel James E. Sabow dead. Colonel Sabow, a decorated Vietnam pilot, refused to lie about his training flights in Marine executive aircraft, and go quietly into retirement. He let it be known that he would request a court-martial to clear his name and tell about the CIA proprietary cocaine flights into El Toro. Brigadier General Wayne T. Adams, Commanding General, MCAS El Toro in an unclassified Zulu message 220745Z January 1991 to the Commandant of the Marine Corps reported the suicide of Colonel James E. Sabow at 0955 on 22 January 91. The military uses ZULU time in dating messages. This message reports the suicide of Colonel Sabow at 0955 on May22, 1991. MCAS El Toro was 8 hours behind the Zulu dated message so the message reported the suicide 10 hours before his death. The unclassified message 220745Z, was sent by El Toro at 212345 or 11:45 PM on Monday January 21, 1991, the day before he was murdered, The forensic evidence of a depressed skull fracture and no GSR on his hands supports homicide. Treachery is a true crime story of cocaine trafficking, murder, and aircraft sabotage. Thousands of Americans died in the crack cocaine epidemic. Tons of white powder were shipped from Central America into US military bases on CIA proprietary aircraft. Government-issued transponder codes allowed the aircraft to cross the Mexican border and land unmolested at MCAS El Toro and other US military bases. The cocaine sales were used to support the Nicaraguan Contra War, together with sales of missiles at a markup over costs to Iran. Those who were a threat to blow-the-whistle were murdered. Colonel Sabow's crime scene supports homicide and crime scene tampering. The depressed skull fracture and other forensic evidence support a violent clubbing on the head by others who pulled the trigger on a shotgun and placed a patio chair on the body to support a false suicide scenario. An even worst Iran/Contra tragedy was the sabotage and crash of Arrow Air 1285 with the deaths of at least 256 Americans. The four professionals on the Canadian Air Safety Board (CASB), aeronautical engineers and pilots, wrote in a minority report that the crash was caused by an airborne fire and explosion. Arleigh McCree, the head of the LAPD bomb squad, connected the Arrow Air 1285 crash to incendiary devices sold exclusively to the CIA. He reported his findings to the government, thinking that terrorists had gotten a hold of the incendiaries. He gave no thought that government agents planted the incendiaries on the DC-8. Their motive was to kill everyone on board who knew about the aborted covert mission to use a nuclear backpack to destroy an Iraqi nuclear weapons research facility, blaming the Iraqis for the explosion and nuclear fallout. Donald Lee Morse, an innocent Black American and the owner of the North Hollywood garage where the pipe bomb was found and Hollywood make-up artist, was convicted of their deaths. McCree and Ron Ball, his partner, were killed in the explosion of the booby-trapped pipe bomb found in Morse's garage. Morse pleasded not guilty. He had no motive to plant a booby-trapped pipe bomb in his garage and lacked the skill to booby trap a pipe bomb to fool a world-class bomb disposal expert like McCree. Morse reportly committed sucide in a California prison in Mary 2009. The US government records on the crash are sealed for 70-years,
