I appreciated that the book was based largely on research. It gives the reader information to help prevent affairs and make clear-headed decisions about what to do if they are having an affair or expect that their mate may be having an affair. After reading the book I feel I have a much clearer view of the entire subject. I recommend this book to anyone who is married and wants to take steps to keep their marriage affair-proof. I also highly recommend it for anyone involved in an affair who could use some objective facts to concider as they weather the ups and downs of their relationships. It opened my eyes to how vulnerable any marriage is to an affair. I have taken preventative steps to maintain the health of my marriage as a result of reading the book. Thank you Dr. Staheli

the book is easy to read and undersatand. it clears a lot of misunderstandings and myths about affairs. most importantly, it tells you if you are having an affair. we tend to pretend we're not having an affair. well the book tells you when you are having one and when this affairs becomes a threat to your marriage or monogamous relationship. it also explains quite well the stages of the affair and why we feel the way we do during this stag
