Absolutely Worthless! Nothing about how to Troubleshoot Electronics
Published by Steve D. , 1 year ago
This book is absolutely worthless! There is nothing in this book about troubleshooting electronic circuits. The book focuses on dozens of schematics of things like old B&W CRT TV’s, VHS recorders, old camcorders and the Radio Shack TRS-80 computer. The book shows schematics of certain makes and models and tells you in a paragraph about the sections of the schematic. No equipment for troubleshooting is listed in the book. After describing a component such as a power supply, book tells you to replace it if it’s not working! Basically, it looks like cut and paste from different manufacturers feature brochures. Finally, I was hoping to find one or two pages that would be worth cutting out and keeping for reference; but, no such luck. Book went into the trash minutes after getting it.
