Andrea still hasn't gotten over the weird time traveling adventure she had last year at her grandfather's house. Well, this summer Andrea and her brother are going back to their grandparent's house to visit, and Andrea has already made up her mind that she will not return to the time traveling tunnels. When they arrive at their grandparent's house, they discover that they're alone. Andrea's brother, Tony gets into an argument, and Andrea stomps out of the house in fury. Tony then takes the opportunity to try out the time traveling tunnels that he read about in Andrea's diary. Soon, Tony has traveled back in time to the 1920's where he meets his Aunt Bea and Grandfather Vance as kids. When Andrea returns to the home, she learns that Tony has snuck into the tunnels and Andrea must go after him. Now, that Andrea and Tony are back in the 1920's, they learn about a crime ring that is happening late at night in the tunnels. Soon, Andrea and Tony are thrown into solving the mystery.
