Our 2 1/2 year old loves this book! The text is very lyrical and flows wonderfully. She can recite the whole book from memory as we go through each page.

Our baby looooved this book from very early on. We regularly give it as gifts to friends' children. One 2 1/2-year old girl loved the book so much she slept with it two nights in a row. She begs her mom to read her the "Dance with a Burger" book.Another 2-year-old reads the book to her mom. The words are so fun and catchy and have such a wonderful rhythm that she even gets lines like "Rattle in your bones up a dark dark street". The type face is large & bold, which makes it easier for young eyes (and old eyes) to focus.The bright colors of the creative illustrations attract even the attention of small babies -- and adults!
