Working from government documents and corporate records, Sauder has compiled an impressive book that digs below the surface of the military's super-secret underground! Go behind the scenes into little-known corners of the public record and discover how corporate America has worked hand-in-glove with the Pentagon for decades, dreaming about, planning, and actually constructing, secret underground bases. This book includes chapters on the locations of the bases, the tunneling technology, various military designs for underground bases, nuclear testing & underground bases, abductions, needles & implants, military involvement in "alien" cattle mutilations, more. 50-page photo & map insert.
I'm guessing most people who don't like this book were expecting something different. This book has lots of good info, all of it is very well researched and he backs up all of his sources. Just don't expect extreme Dulce wars type material...
Interesting, Quick Read, Few Faults

Sauder collects basically all the publically available info re: Underground bases and tunnels. It's outdated, but his second tome likely covers more up to date info. The research itself likely took a lot of time, and it is a very quick read. His writing style is simple and understandable, and he only presents the facts and asks very pertinent questions to which he states he does not know the answers. There are also tons of pictures, schematics and patents that he has found which are totally worth the price of the book. The info on tunneling technology is also highly interesting as is his listing of 'official' underground installations. The fault i found with the piece is towards the end he kind of tampers off and it doesn't really 'end' with anything solid. He goes into nuclear testing and EPA programs to monitors human/animal contamination - which is good info, just not really pertinent in a piece about underground installations. He also compares commercial technology and techniques to animal mutilations and alien abductions which is relatively inconclusive, thou the comparisons are interesting in an of themselves. All in all, worth reading, and it won't take you long.
Another piece to the jigsaw puzzle

The material in this book corroborates some of the stories I've heard in various UFO books about underground noises, lights, and craft coming out of the ground. The author sticks mostly to the facts, and he usually has pictures and documents to back up what he's saying. Overall it doesn't necessarily mean that anything actually exists, however, they COULD exist. He leaves it up to the reader to decide.
The Best and Only Book on Underground Bases, etc.

Sauder's book is the best and, as far as I know, only book on the rather important subject of high-tech, super-expensive bases, with their connecting tunnel systems. Sauder's specialty is researching and obtaining U.S. Government documents. What he found out under the subject of underground bases and tunnels is shocking! Packed with government diagrams and patents, this is a one-of-a-kind book!
A good book, informative and intriguing.

Someone is doing a lot of things down under the ground. This book tries to find out who, and why. I found it a good read. It has peeked my interest in the subject.
