This book offers an excellent overview of back pain and its underlying causes and treatments. The diagrams are very insightful and easy to understand yet they convey a great deal of information to the reader. Worth every penny!
If you could have one book about low back pain, this is it!

Dr. Cailliet offers excellent and easy to understand explanations of the symptoms, causes and treatments of low back pain. He writes in a manner that is easy to follow, with very effective illustrations of various types of injuries, including herniated disks, arthritis and nerve problems. Any person without a clinical background can easily follow his descriptions of the causes of low back pain and treatment options. I was given a copy by my neurologist and reference it often.
