Awesome and Encouraging book

I initially bought this b/c of his pops, and expected to hear more of his fathers words. Similar to his Dad but much more. This is one of the best Christian books I've read on reminding us of God's good nature, how to hear and do God's will. If you need some encouragement on your faith or your Christian life is stagnant, this is a must read! This is a Christian book not a free-thinking all roads lead to the same place book. God is the I AM, not the possibilities are endless. He has His will, His plan and His Nature whether you like it or not. It's up to us to join him.

Ultimatly God will get done what he wants done. But God has given man a choice in his spiritual maturity therefore He has willingly limited Himself in getting done what He wants to get done through us,like it or not . If you are not in the place God wants you to be than you are limiting God. If you are not "growing" than you are limiting God. This book will help you get rid of the "obstacles" of your spiritual growth. Its an easy read as all the Blackaby books are, sometimes we need that.

We claim God's love and power have no limits, so why do we as Christians, set up our own self-imposed limits on what we receive. The God of the Bible is a powerful, merciful, loving God. He plainly tells us that with Him, all things are possible, yet I find myself, in my weakness, limiting what I can do. I think we would be surprised at what we could accomplish if we were willing to set aside those limits and step out, confident that with God's help we can be all He wants us to be. If you sometimes feel you only know God on a surface level, if you feel defeated and discouraged in your Christian life, then this book is for you. No, it's not a book comparing all religions. But if you're interested in a stronger relationship with Almighty God, Father, Creator, and Redeemer, you'll find help here. Richard Blackaby uses stories and scripture to provide answers to the questions that plague most Christians. Strongly recommended.
