Very inspiring guide on how to keep a sketch journal!

This small booklet is packed with valuable information! The content of this book is culled from The Urban Sketching Handbook series, and includes a chapter dedicated to each of the four volumes; Architecture and Cityscapes by Gabriel Campanario, People and Motion by Gabriel Campanario, Understanding Perspective by Stephanie Bower, and Reportage and Documentary Drawing by Veronica Lawlor. . . I was especially impressed with the section on Understanding Perspective by Stephanie Bower. It helped to explain how to get a cityscape or building to scale on your paper. I appreciated that there are several examples of urban sketches throughout the book. Each picture tells who the artist is, how big the original artwork was, what mediums were used, and how long was spent completing the drawings. . . I found those short notes so informative! The one thing that I was disappointed with was that the sketchbook was not with it. . . The exercise book is great! I really liked the encouragement to add people to your drawings and the suggestions they made to help you get started.
