This book is perfect for the relatively inexperienced teacher of the bible in small groups. The book includes guidelines for beginning a group and managing it, but its most helpful sections deal with facilitating a small group Bible study. Hestenes' insights will help keep the inexperienced teacher from "taking over" a group, not allowing group members to participate, and help him or her to implement variety into otherwise monotonous lesson strategies. She includes numerous examples of discussion provoking questions too. If you know the Bible well, but aren't as experienced teaching in small groups, take a look at this one.
