Dan Cooney is the author of the instructional books WRITING AND ILLUSTRATING THE GRAPHIC NOVEL, THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO FIGURE DRAWING FOR COMICS AND GRAPHICS, and PERSPECTIVE WORKBOOK FOR ILLUSTRATORS for B.E.S. Publishing. Cooney established his publishing imprint, Red Eye Press in 1997 with the debut of his creator-owned comic book series, VALENTINE at Comic-Con International.
