Beautiful book to use in planning travel and in reviewing and re-living travel experiences after returning home. Very thorough. The book is filled with wonderful pictures and excellent text.

Great overview

A great overview and guidebook of Venice, which includes many photographs and maps. Its compact size lends itself to easy travel, but would look great on the bookshelf at home also. The contents of the book are divided into different sections of the city. Historical and artistic background is given as well. The only problem is that there are some misspellings. This book made me want to return to Venice!
