I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it! He's hunts regularly and was intrigued by the many variation on cooking venison that he found in this book. He said he would highly recommend it.

This book is wonderful because it shows how to field dress a deer and then how to cut the meat the way a butcher would. I consider myself a good cook, but when confronted with a huge piece of meat still in "deer form", I had no idea where to begin!
