This book covers the basics of Visio well. However, when I was finished I could do some things better, but it's not like I could make breathtaking diagrams or anything like that. However, not a bad book for covering the basics and more.

As usual the Dummies series is pretty good and gives you a general intro and easy to build on concepts and how the product works and how to work it as you need it.
