Great Vb5 Book - Great Examples

Well, despite the very minimal errors in this book -(Yes, the angry people reviews are just over-reacting)- It is the, by far, best book for VB I have ever read! Anything I need to find in VB, I just look it up, and voila I find it. It's so easy and the examples are easy to read and to unerstand. GREAT BOOK! A Definate 11 on my chart!

I found this book very well set out. Every time I have wanted to do something I have found it. A lot books have examples of things that you will not want to do. This book is filled with good practical examples. Don't listen to the wingers - yes there are typos in some code but the clear explanations and practical style more than make up for them and an Errata sheet is available from the waite website
Inexpensive way to add ceu's to your resume

I have quite a bit of experience with non-traditional forms of education. I am delighted with the approach this book takes. There are a few typos but I don't think enough to hamper effective use of the book and the on-line supporting material.
Good book for beginners in VB

This is a great book. It's "language" is simple and the explanations are very direct. Okay, as you must have read above it does have some errors, but no errors I found have stopped me from learning VB, and probably won't stop you too... This book is worth it's price.
