There are a few "must haves" when it comes to a successful trip in the Northwest and or British Columbia waters. They included charts, GPS, VHF radio, US Coast Pilot, and The Waggoner Cruising Guide. This is a boating reference book on steroids. Like the US Coast Pilot, the Waggoner lists hazards into anchorages, as well as as port amenities. This book also shines with navigational instruction, going through customs information, fuel dock and pump-out locations, marine radio usage and requirements, weather tips, parks, marinas, anchorages, and more. We have used this reference tool extensively on our Capri 25 sailboat and would not cruise without it. From getting a bag of ice or needing a tow in an emergency situation, the Waggoneer is a boater's best friend. - Ken Fritz author of The United States Radio Directory: A Traveler's Favorite Companion 2008-2009
