What a beautiful sleepy-time book!

I just bought this book two nights ago for my 2-year-old son, and he's in love with it! It's his new favorite. :o) The story line is simple and easy for children to remember. I love how the moon glows in the dark on every page--it looks so neat, especially when the moon "rises" and you can see more and more of the face. The last page is the best! My only complaints are that you have to put each page up to the light for a while so that the glow-in-the-dark will work, and I also wish the words were glowable so that you could read the story in the dark. Regardless, I think the illustrations are some of the best I've ever seen and I would definitely recommend this for all little ones and definitely for gift-giving! Enjoy!

I bought this book for my son when he was 4, and started reading it to my daughter when she was 1 1/2. She is now 3 yrs old and it remains one of her great favorites. It is a great calming yet interactive bedtime process, as the little ones can lift the flaps themselves to find the hidden animals, as the grownup reads. Each one of course has its little story and can be as long or as short as sleepiness allows. The story lines are also delightfully short and easy to learn. I am now buying two more of these as gifts!
