This is one of British explorer and adventurer Levison Wood's long distance walks through multiple countries and tough terrain--this time through Central America. People interested in history, geography and human interest will enjoy this as he encounters bad weather, sketchy neighborhoods, and colorful characters. There is some humor in this, particularly with his companion, Alberto, which brings the reader in even more. It reminds me of Michael Palin's journeys, especially Around the World in 80 Days.
