I absolutely LOVE leslie sansone. I can do her videos and lose weight and tone up. Her videos are not complicated at all they are easy moves with extraordinary results. So when I found this book and dvd set I was extremely excited. and so far I have not been disappointed. Being a Christian myself I understand the connection between the spiritual and the physical. And Leslie is a very informed instructor with a contagious love of God and exercise. If you are depressed, discouraged, or just wanting to lose some weight. This is the perfect program for you.

Since I've tried most of Leslie Sansone's walking workouts I was interested in reading her book. This turned out to be a very positive experience and her vibrant personality comes through in her writing. Each day in the 30-day program is inspirational and motivating. Leslie gives a pep talk for each day and also includes "Un-Faith-Full Thoughts: "I don't need anyone's help or love," and a more positive way of looking at life like: "We are all a part of God's plan and are deserving of love." "Women in their seventies who do regular strength training have bones that are just as strong as they were when these women were in their thirties." ~ pg. 56 Throughout the book there are sections of helpful advice and a good helping of facts to convince you that walking is in your best interest. Leslie encourages you to drink more water, avoid Transfats (hydrogenated oils) and to start making better food choices. For the most part this is a very encouraging book with lots of positive thinking. I found it to be a comforting read. As a bonus, this book comes with a Two-Mile DVD so you can walk along with Leslie for a month. Once you try her workout you may want to buy some of her other DVDs which are all very positive and fun. I absolutely loved this book. Leslie opened my eyes to the connections between food, water, physical activity, and God. I had never before put those things in that perspective. I also loved the inspiration that Leslie gives. She makes you want to believe in yourself and know that you can overcome any challenge to be fit. I will be reading this book again, soon.

First of all, the price is remarkable! The book alone is worth the price and then you get a 2 mile workout too! I found this workout to be Leslie's absolute best. The book is designed so that you read a few pages a day for 30 days. She inspires you to exercise through your faith in Christ since our bodies are God's temple and we should treat it that way. Each day has an inspirational message, un-faith-full thoughts we should identify and get rid of, scripture for thought, an activity to apply to your life and a journal page to record your progress. The DVD is easy to follow and has encouraging words throughout. It is very fun to do. The DVD has a section at the end where you get to meet the people who are exercising with Leslie. It was great and inspiring to hear their stories. I highly recommend this program!

I have bought each book that Leslie Sansone has written and this one is the best as it deals more with the emotional side of eating. It helps remind us that our bodies are temples of God and that we should take care of them. She also reminds us that we should not get down on ourselves when we slip and fall and God does not expect us to be perfect. The two mile DVD included inside the book is excellent as well.
