Creative and gifted author Judi McCoy brings us the final installment in her zany and sexy Wanted trilogy. Mira, one of the nine women chosen from her planet for Project Rejuvenation, is considered perfect. She is superior in psychic skills, intelligence, objective reasoning, and has a stunning figure of course - every aspect valued in her world. In order to bring their species back to its full potential, this group of perfect females will be sent to Earth, where they will mate with an Earth male and return home pregnant. When Mira's craft lands in the middle of Washington, DC, she immediately sets her sights on her quarry Lucas Diamond and seduces him to much success. Little does she know that Lucas is in charge of a highly classified organization and is responsible for locating aliens. But Mira also didn't expect that their "joining" would have such an impact on her emotions. Suddenly a clear-cut mission has turned into something of cosmic proportions and a quest for a baby may lead to an opportunity to unite two people from two very different worlds. For anyone who has ever seen and loved Star Man (starring Jeff Bridges) and who dreams of finding the perfect man. This "Star Man"-like storyline is innovative, fun, and utterly charming. Judi McCoy has a fresh lively voice that is perfect for this whimsical fantasy series she's written. If you like books that make you smile, have interesting plot twists and fairy tale endings, this is the perfect read. This is the final book in the Starlight trilogy, following three women who have come to Earth to claim their man. Judi was named Waldenbooks Bestselling Debut Author of 2001.
The Starlight Trilogy books are the first Judi McCoy books I have read, but they certainly won't be the last. I loved Wanted: One Perfect Man and Wanted: One Special Kiss. Wanted: One Sexy Night did not let me down one bit. Featuring wonderful characters that you just love to read about and cheer for, and original, hilarious plot lines, the Starlight Trilogy books have earned a spot on my keeper shelf.
Light reading, Great fun

This is the third in the Wanted: trilogy, and contains references to a number of things that happened in the earlier books. While I think it would be fine as a stand alone, it's more enjoyable if you have read the other two first. All three books are full of light-hearted romance with strong female leads and intelligent and tender men as their counter-parts. I personally loved the way magic and extraterrestrial beings are all worked into our world in such a way that you enjoy as a child would a fairytale, yet it is written for adults with the sexual tension and passion that you want from a romance novel. The third book has more of a finality to it that the others, which both finished in an open-ended way. Wanted: One Sexy Night bring about a completion to the over-arching storyline, which is almost a shame because it means we are unlikely to have another in this series. Great fun to read, I would definitely recommend it.
This is her best triology yet

Judi McCoy just keeps getting better and better with each zany trilogy. Read this set in any order. I started with this one and worked my way backwards. Having reconnoitered Earth for genetically compatible men, women from Mira's galaxy are sent here self destructing pods to find their guy, mate, make a baby and head back home. Wham. Bamm. And thanks for the hot sex and souvenir might have wrapped this up in a few novellas, but McCoy never lets her couples off that easy and Mira has the toughest assignment of all. Her guy KNOWS she's arrived because he works for a government agency that tracked the pods as they landed. He wants first contact with the alien before the bad guys get her and dissect her for science. What he doesn't realize is she's already in his bed. You'll read this one in one night to find out how they pull off a planet level detente and make the ultimate sacrifice for peace. Buy all three in the series at once. You don't want to miss a single piece of this space puzzle.

I totally agree...the sex scenes are hot! These two characters have great chemistry, so it isn't gratuitous sex either. I would also recommend this book for someone who wants a gentle introduction into paranormal or science fiction romance. The female character is an alien but so humanoid that no one on earth notices until...well, I don't want to give away the goodies! The other two books in the trilogy are great reads as well. Read them to get you ready for this book, then enjoy!
Cleaver Alien Theme/Great Read

This is one of a series of three books. While the first two stand on their own, this one would benefit from the previous information in the other two. In fact, you will be slightly confused towards the end if you have not read the previous books. That said, this is a great read, despite some moralizing on the writer's part and her obvious objection to cloning and DNA manipulation. The love story is hot, the idea behind the landing of 9 alien women on US soil intriquing and very well thought out. I could not imagine how Mira and Lucas were going to get out of their situation and wind up together, but I said the writing was cleaver and so is the ending. I thought this was going to be a nine-part series but I am almost certain this is the last book. I give Judi McCoy a lot of credit for knowing when and how to stop. You are going to love the entire series. It's hot and sexy and captures your interest throughout. I did not want to put it down and did not want it to end. You'll want to read this series again and again. Think about the media circus and public frenzy that any unfortunate alien would actually experience should he or she find themselves on earth. I just love fiction and happy endings.
