Football fans coffee table book.

For all intents and purposes, this is a coffee table book for football fans. You'll see brilliant photographs of all the classic pics like a bloody and beaten Y.A. Tittle on his knees, alone and dejected in the endzone. You'll also find brilliant detail of the "game inside the game" as players get stepped on, punched, kicked and poked and even a few where you will wonder how the victim of a facemask didn't end up with a broken neck! The photogarphy here is first rate. There are some problems here, though. The dialog is sparse and much of it comes straight from the players, so it's not earth shattering reading. There is also a noticable lack of pre-1960 photographs, apart from single shots of Bronco Nagurski and a small handfull of others. If you love football, you'll love the pics here, you'll find the reading lacking and near non-existant, and I'm not too sure many fans will be willing to fork over the price of this one.
