Good story but not as good as 'Trust Me' and 'Stop Me'. Very talented writer.

Good book, wasn’t my favorite out of this series as you could tell the same plot was going to happen.. I found the main character to be quite immature. The story had enough twists to be interesting.

I read all three of this series in less than a week. Brenda has me hooked for life. The charaters, Skye, Sheridan and Jasmine build their own business ("The Last Stand") because of events in their life. It is a nonprofit organization. They help people with similar problems and they get the job done. After I closed the last book, I felt sad because I did not want to lose these friends. That is how real she made the charaters seem. Just purchased the "Dead Givaway, Dead Right and Dead Silence series, so be hanged housework for a few days.
Loved This Book Even More Than The First Two In The Last Stand Series

And I loved the first two books, too. Complex layers of suspense build until the pulse pounding conclusion. Couldn't put it down and didn't want to. Brenda Novak gets better and better with each novel she writes. I recommend this read to anyone who enjoys suspense. The love story between Sheridan and Cain with all its twists and turns is a wonderful bonus - GREAT read.

This one was another winner by Novak. She gets the balance of suspense and romance exactly right. And she has a real gift with character development, including secondary characters. I enjoyed every minute of this one.
