I purchased this book in Yellowstone while visiting for a little less than a week, there were certain animals I really wanted to see before I left. This was helpful, we enjoyed alot of the places it suggested to us but we didn't see the animals we were searching for in each of them. This book also helped me identify some of the animals and I learned alot about this animals because of this book. It gives you a map, tells you about the animals, gives to sample footprints, and tells you where your most likely to see certain animals. I'm not a pro at searching for animals or anything and this book was straight forward and very easy to understand. I would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Yellowstone.
