So, you have family that isn't your blood and blood that doesn't act a bit like family. Typical wouldn't you say? Throughout our lives, we adopt many as our kin and treat them accordingly, while disowning our own blood and treating them like strangers. Our reasons, are our reasons, right or wrong. King Carter and Serenity Washington are two young adults, preparing to leave home for college who happen to meet by chance.
